Anna Straw Wade Kansan, Monday, October 6, 1902 Mrs. B. F. Wade, who has been critically ill of heart trouble for the past two weeks, died at her home on East South Second street at about 12 o'clock last night. Although her death has been almost hourly expected for several days past, the shock is none the less severe one to grief stricken relatives and friends. Mrs. Wade was born in Lancaster, Penn., in about 1837, and was nearly sixty-six years old. Prior to her marriage she was Miss Anna Straw. She has lived in Newton only about four years but had a warm circle of friends here who will sincerely mourn her death. Her husband B. F. Wade, died last winter. Her daughter, Mrs. J. F. Winger, survives her. The funeral will be held tomorrow at 2:30 o'clock at the Evangelical church and the Rev. Platz will conduct the service.
