George is buried in SCOTCH CHURCH CEMETERY
Town of Florida, Montgomery County, New York
The Duguid stones are no longer there, but records show the inscriptions.

George, d. Feb. 28 [20], 1838, 73 [75] yr 4mo 14da

This date inscription does not match with the birth/baptism record.  It would have depended on the condition of the engraving at the time as to the accuracy of the records.  George’s Will was proven June 23, 1838, so we know without a doubt that he died prior to that.  Barbara Duguid, George’s wife, found the document in his papers about 4 weeks after his death.
